Focus on this

I’m not particularly inclined to grand pronouncements; okay so maybe I am; but here I go.

For the past six days, I have willingly gone on a hiatus from Facebook. I removed access for all apps and pulled it from my Klout score. (Aside, I still give a shit about my Klout!?!) Why? I’m trying to impart a change in habits. Let’s pretend that I measured my daily activities and arrived at an hour and a half spent on Facebook. To what point? Let’s instead invest that time taking care of actions and tasks that I care more about, such as putting more content into my own website. Or helping others develop their own lives more. Or just painting. So far, it’s been pleasing to have a little more time to do my thing. I’ve also noticed that I’ve dropped off on reading news stories on the interwobble, particularly as I see that they are mostly feeding the monsters, Fear and Envy. So there we are.
What am I doing more of? Well, tweeting is one thing. Blogging, but I have at least two projects working at a time now. I think with the recent studio rearrangement it might be possible to increase the number of concurrent projects upwards, so that there is at least one project in each level of the process. Oh and since I have a couple of different processes to use, it might be possible to fill each one with a project for each level! That would be simply amazing to have up to fifteen projects working simultaneously! Let’s see where this takes me.
